Chargers Youth Football and Cheer

Charger family:

First and foremost, thank you all for a great 2024 season. Our program continues to stand out in the Hill Country Youth Football League as a dominant force on the field. The support of our sponsors, parents, friends, and the football coaching staff at Champion High School enables us to bring quality football to the Boerne community.

In 2024, our program fielded a total of 7 football teams and 57 cheerleaders.

Freshman Team (Semi-Finalist)

JV ‘B’ (Quarter Finalist)

JV ‘A’ (Quarter Finalist)

5th ‘A’ (Division Runner-up)

5th/6th ‘B’

6th ‘A’ (Team 2) (Quarter Finalist)

6th ‘A’ (Team 1) (Division Champions)

Of these seven teams, six advanced to the playoffs in 2024. This last season was a first for the HCYFL with the formation of A & B groups within each division. 2024 also saw our 6th grade A/Team 1 win the championship and make Hill Country Youth Football history. They are the only team to win a championship in each age division during their five seasons of playing together and they have the honor of being the most accomplished team in league history. This team emulated the principles of hard work, discipline, and grit that many saw on display every Saturday. 2025 will see this team graduate to middle school football and we look forward to seeing the leaders these young men will become as they move to the next phase of their lives. 2025 will also see many of our younger players return, and we are extremely excited about watching these young athletes get back to action. We have high hopes and expectations of our incoming 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade players. As board members, we have been there with these teams and shared their moments of glory on the field, and we have also been there when it hurts the most. From the first snap of the season, to the last, and all the snaps in between, we look forward to seeing your athlete and cheerleaders make memories on the field. When we look back at the inception of this organization in 2023, we truly appreciate seeing the growth and success this organization has achieved in this short time. Yet through it all, we remain steadfast in our devotion to football, cheerleading, community and team. All of you who help to ensure that this organization has the resources to stay on this competitive path are essential to our success and we board members thank you all. Without your cooperation, none of this would be possible. Play like a Champion…today, tomorrow, and every day after. See you all soon.
